Headquarter in Haddam, Kansas, RevHoney, Inc. is a privately-held honey company specializing in bring an ancient food to the modern world with its innovative packaging and marketing. Our message is clear; Restore the Health of Future Generations. We do this by providing a food that is both good for you and taste good. By offering a better way to health and convenient packaging, we are able to reach consumers in a way that has never been done before.

Our Story

Many companies set out to make big bucks. RevHoney’s cofounders Nathan and Jerry Brown saw that people had a need for something better for their bodies with the increasing, and staggering number of obese and diabetes diagnoses. RevHoney, Inc. set out with a different mindset; give the consumer what they are looking for – heath and convenience. However, this was not an easy task. The Brown’s also are founders of a honey research company, WorldClassEmprise, so they already knew the power of honey in the human body. Having a passion for their product and their consumers, RevHoney was born.

Why is RevHoney so good for you?

At a time when obesity (One billion adults are overweight worldwide and three million are considered obese), diabetes (23.6 million people—7.8 percent of the population—have diabetes in 2007) and cancer (11,028,000 in 2006) is sky rocketing, consumers need something better for their bodies. RevHoney is a natural 1:1 balance of fructose and glucose which is optimum for liver glycogen formation. Because no glycogen can be formed from glucose alone, the natural fructose and glucose in RevHoney fuels the liver directly. The brain gets its fuel supply from the liver which the liver is the major contributor to true energy. By fueling the brain via the liver, you lessen the amount of stress hormones the brain sends out from low liver glycogen levels.

What problems do RevHoney solve?

Many consumer and even nutritionist, doctors and coaches are what we call Liver Blind. They are unaware of the vital role that the liver has in human metabolism. When the liver glycogen level is low it releases a protein (IGFBP-1) that restricts the amount of glucose the muscles can take up (power reduction). The same protein signals the brain of depleting liver glycogen levels. The brain then sends out stress hormones (primarily cortisol) to search for alternative fuel sources. The stress hormone will break down muscle protein and convert it into glycogen in the liver. RevHoney halts this process all together by forming liver glycogen directly. Once your body is fueled properly, your metabolism can increase, have less stress hormones and more energy.
